Overview
We are seeking a proactive, results-driven, agile, and detail-oriented AI/SaaS Procurement Specialist focused on the discovery, hands-on evaluation, and strategic assessment of AI tools and platforms, with secondary responsibilities for evaluating non-AI business solutions. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about AI technology from a user and application perspective, capable of rapidly learning new tools and assessing their business value. The ideal candidate will combine strong research and analytical skills with hands-on technical capabilities to deliver swift, comprehensive evaluations and clear recommendations in a fast-faced, AI-first environment. Reporting directly to the Chief AI Operations Officer, this is an opportunity to specialize in AI tool and platform evaluation and become a subject matter expert in AI application intelligence and strategy, in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Compensation: Competitive salary range of AED 15,000 - AED 25,000/month based on experience and qualifications, with opportunity for up to 10% performance bonus, all tax-free. This transparent range represents our full compensation spectrum, with specific offers determined by relevant experience and demonstrated expertise.
Responsibilities:
AI Tool & Platform Analysis (60%)
Proactively identify emerging and niche AI tools and platforms relevant to business requirements through online research, industry scanning, and network leveraging.
Conduct thorough evaluations of AI platforms and tools through hands-on testing, configuring trial versions, and exploring user interfaces/functionality to determine viability and impact.
Create detailed comparative analyses using weighted scoring methodologies.
Perform systematic feature analysis of AI tools and platforms, including:
Language models and capabilities
Integration possibilities and their strategic implications
Customization options
Performance metrics
Security and compliance features
Document technical specifications and capabilities of AI platforms with a focus on actionable insights.
Research and validate AI platform claims and performance metrics with an evidence-based approach.
Prepare comprehensive, actionable evaluation and recommendations to inform decision-making and accelerate adoption.
Continuously research and monitor advancements in AI technologies, tools, and platforms to provide forward-looking recommendations and identify new opportunities and use cases quickly, ensuring the business maintains a competitive edge.
General Systems Analysis (40%)
Evaluate non-AI business platforms (CRM, marketing tools, etc.)
Conduct platform demos and trial implementations
Create comparison matrices for features, pricing, and capabilities
Research market solutions and industry trends
Document findings and prepare concise analytical reports and recommendations suitable for a fast-faced environment
Proactively manage stakeholder requirements gathering, distilling core needs to ensure focused evaluations
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience in systems analysis, product analysis, technology evaluation, or related role involving software assessment
Demonstrated experience with AI platforms and tools evaluation, proven ability to quickly learn and assess new AI tools and technologies, and translate findings into strategic imperatives
Proficiency in creating efficient yet detailed comparative analysis, which includes competitor analysis, feature scoring, cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, ROI calculations, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias for action based on data and evidence
Excellent documentation and reporting abilities
Experience with evaluation frameworks and scoring methodologies applied pragmatically to achieve efficient, robust outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Practical experience in a variety of AI tools and applications, advanced user of AI productivity tools, content generation platforms, or AI-powered analytics software
Conceptual understanding of API integration and system architecture
Familiarity with multiple business platforms (CRM, Marketing, Sales tools)
Experience with cross-functional requirements gathering and analysis
Strong data analysis and visualization skills to present complex information clearly and concisely
Experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment

Why do I have to take an online test if I have the relevant skills and experience?
We want to give every candidate a fast, fair, and prep-free way to get their foot in the door. No worrying if you'll get a response or if your CV even reached the right person. Do well on the test and you'll move on to the next round, guaranteed.
Is there an expiry for the online test? When do you expect me to complete the online assessment?
