Overview:


We're looking for a strategic Senior Procurement Manager to become the architect of our supply chain innovation. This is a career-defining role for a top-tier product innovator ready to build our competitive edge and drive product breakthroughs by discovering and sourcing the future of materials and technology.


Compensation: A competitive salary range of USD $70,000 - $90,000/annum, based on experience and qualifications, plus an opportunity for up to a 10% performance bonus. This transparent range represents our full compensation spectrum, with specific offers determined by relevant experience and demonstrated expertise.


Responsibilities:


  • Architect Global Sourcing Strategy: Take total ownership of our global sourcing strategy, creating a world-class supplier network that functions as a competitive weapon.

  • Drive Product Innovation: Serve as the engine of innovation by discovering and qualifying game-changing materials, technologies, and manufacturing capabilities that directly influence our product roadmap.

  • Orchestrate Strategic Partnerships: Forge and cultivate high-level supplier relationships that transcend transactions, negotiating groundbreaking deals that align with long-term innovation goals.

  • Manage End-to-End Innovation Lifecycle: Shepherd new products from concept to market, acting as the critical link between our boldest design concepts and manufacturing excellence.

  • Handle Cross-Functional Leadership: Be the bridge between worlds, fluently translating between creative designers, product teams, operations, and manufacturing partners to align stakeholders on company-wide objectives.

  • Facilitate Competitive Advantage: Construct a resilient global network that gives us advantages our competitors can't match in quality, speed, and innovation.

  • Transform Procurement Function: Revolutionize how a D2C brand thinks about procurement, utilizing an AI-native toolbox to ensure the function sits at the product development table, not just at the end of it.


Ideal Profile:


  • 3+ years of strategic sourcing or global procurement experience: With a proven track record of bringing innovative consumer products from concept to market.

  • Innovation Sourcing Expertise: Demonstrated success in discovering and qualifying game-changing suppliers, materials, or technologies that created tangible competitive advantages.

  • Global Supply Chain Mastery: Established relationships across international manufacturing hubs and the ability to navigate complex global supply chains.

  • Strategic Thinking Capabilities: A mindset that sees suppliers as innovation partners, with the ability to spot future best-selling components and anticipate product needs.

  • Exceptional Communication & Influence: Proven ability to translate between creative and technical teams and align stakeholders from design to finance around a central strategy.

  • Strategic Negotiation Mastery: Expertise in structuring complex partnerships that go beyond price to secure long-term innovation and growth.

  • Confidentiality Expertise: Experience handling sensitive product roadmaps, proprietary material information, and strategic plans with the highest standards of discretion.

  • D2C Brand Experience: Understanding of the speed and agility required in a direct-to-consumer environment.

Why do I have to take an online test if I have the relevant skills and experience?

We want to give every candidate a fast, fair, and prep-free way to get their foot in the door. No worrying if you'll get a response or if your CV even reached the right person. Do well on the test and you'll move on to the next round, guaranteed.

Is there an expiry for the online test? When do you expect me to complete the online assessment?

The link for the online test only expires once we have filled the position, but if you’re super interested in the opportunity, we recommend you take it ASAP as our hiring process moves quickly.
