WHERE THIS ROLE CAN LEAD
Warehouse Associate
Senior Warehouse Associate
Warehouse Lead
Career progression that takes 4-5 years elsewhere can happen in 1-2 years here for high performers.
Move the inventory behind a $1Billion+ e-commerce brand's daily shipments. Every pallet staged, every bundle built, every return reboxed ships accurately because you counted it.
AI-first since December 2023: every pick, putaway, and cycle count is RF-scanned straight into the WMS. That scan data drives the daily production pulls this floor runs on, with no manual count sheets. Catching the short shipment, the damaged pallet, or the screen number that doesn't match the rack takes judgment. That part stays yours.

The Opportunity
You'll own the full cycle of warehouse operations for Puffy.com, a $1Billion+ e-commerce brand: receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping out of our North Hollywood facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll run your own lane of the floor — operating forklifts and pallet jacks, picking and staging against daily quotas, and owning the accuracy of every count you sign off on. This is a hands-on, on-site position for someone who works independently, keeps product moving, and holds accuracy when the pace picks up.
Who You’ll Work With
Meet the team you'd be working with, and what you'd work on together:
General Manager
Your senior escalation point
She owns operations above the warehouse floor. What you find on the receiving dock — a discrepancy against a purchase order, a stock rotation problem that keeps recurring — reaches her through your records, and it's the reason a process gets changed rather than worked around.
The Problems You'll Own
Primary: Accuracy that holds at speed
The systems are already in place: a WMS and RF scanners track every unit, established SOPs govern bundle assembly and returns reboxing, and the daily production pull sets the quota before the shift starts. What no system does on its own is hold the count when volume climbs — a miscount at receiving, a wrong SKU inside a promo bundle, or a return put back without inspection becomes a customer's problem days later, and by then it's expensive to trace. The problem is keeping speed and accuracy from trading against each other.
Secondary: A floor whose records can be trusted without a recount
Cycle counts, putaway records, and the daily materials-moved log are how the rest of operations knows what is actually on hand. When those records are clean and current, a discrepancy gets caught on the dock instead of at fulfillment. What gets built here is a floor where the number on the screen and the number on the rack are the same number.
What You'll Own:
Operate forklifts (sit-down and/or stand-up), pallet jacks (manual and electric), and hand trucks to move, organize, and stage inventory
Pick, pack, and stage orders against productivity quotas and accuracy targets
Inspect incoming shipments for damage or shortages; verify deliveries against purchase orders and escalate discrepancies
Load and unload trucks, counting and verifying items throughout
Assemble promo bundles and rebox returned products per established procedures
Perform inventory tasks: cycle counts, stock rotation (FIFO), putaway, and product location
Maintain accurate records of materials moved on daily production pulls
Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and fulfill orders
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards and SOPs
What You Bring:
1+ year of warehouse experience (picking, packing, staging, shipping/receiving) — or 6 months with demonstrated forklift proficiency
Forklift certification OR verifiable sit-down/stand-up forklift operating experience
Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or similar)
Working knowledge of OSHA-aligned safety practices: proper lifting technique, PPE use, hazard awareness
Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for full 8-hour shifts, and work in non-climate-controlled environments
Strong reliability and attendance record
Basic math and counting accuracy
High school diploma or equivalent
Good-to-Have:
Experience with Bendi/Flexi articulating forklifts
Familiarity with electric and propane-powered equipment
Prior experience with returns processing or bundle/kit assembly
WEEK 1
— Land well
Site induction, PPE issue, and access to the WMS and your RF scanner. Asana training, and your role-specific AI-Native Starter Pack: the tools operations uses to turn scan data into the daily production pulls and inventory reporting, and where a physical count still overrides the screen. You meet your manager, team and cross-functional departments properly.
WEEK 2
— Get the full picture
Deep dives into the live pick, pack, and staging flow, the daily production pull numbers, and the existing WMS records. You work through the bundle and returns SOPs, including the failure cases — the reboxes that came back a second time, and where a scanned count has diverged from what was physically on the rack — and follow an order from pick through to carrier handoff.
WEEK 3
— Start contributing
You pick up your first full production pull alongside an experienced operator, run a receiving check against a purchase order end to end, and raise your first discrepancy directly with Chris.
WEEK 4
— Your first ship
You run a full shift's pull to quota and accuracy target on your own, and you share your early read on the bundle and returns process and where you'd tighten it.

Arthur Andreasyan, Puffy CEO, Founder & Forbes Council Member
Hi there,
If you're here, you're weighing your next move. Let me tell you what that move looks like at Puffy. Your trajectory here will outpace anywhere else. I'm personally committed to that. We've built a system for it, from how we hire to how we develop leaders. We were AI-first before it was an industry talking point, and every team member here works with tools and technology most companies won't touch for another 2-3 years. What takes 4-5 years at most companies happens in 1-2 here.
That belief in people is how Puffy started. When I founded this company in 2017, it was sparked by a simple question: "What would it feel like to sleep on a cloud?" But the real conviction underneath was this: we could outshine industry giants on a fraction of their budget with the right product and an exceptional team.
Nine years down the line, we stand as a multi-award-winning e-commerce business, proudly supported by hundreds of thousands of passionate customers. Yet our core culture and ethos have remained the same.
We're restless, perpetually hungry, fast-paced, and AI-native to the core. We possess an unwavering belief in our ability to outperform competitors, regardless of their size. If you're seeking an environment that's not afraid to challenge convention or think differently, Puffy could be the perfect fit for you.
The people who join us don't just get a job. They get a legacy.
Looking forward to working with you,
ArthurA

Why do I have to take an online test if I have the relevant skills and experience?
After a successful application review, we invite selected candidates to our online skills test. It's a consistent, structured way for you to demonstrate your skills, assessed against the same criteria as every other candidate. It’s also a great way for you to see if our work is the right fit for your ambition. Candidates who pass the assessment move to Phase 2, the case study challenge.
Is there an expiry date for the online test? When do you expect me to complete the online assessment?
The invitation link for the online test only expires once the position is filled. However, our hiring process moves quickly, so we highly recommend you complete it as soon as you can.
Please note these important details:
Session Time: Once started, the test has a 4-hour inactivity timer before it auto-submits your answers.
Returning Candidates: If you applied for this same role within the last 6 months, our system may use your previous assessment score. In this case, you may be taken directly to a confirmation page.
Top Tip: The invitation email may go to your spam or junk folder, so please check there if you haven't received it.
If you still encounter any issues, please reach out to us at careers@puffy.com.
